Heat Stabilizer helps prevent degradation (yellowing) of liquid plastic due to excessive or prolonged heating. Just a few drops will greatly prolong the heating life of most liquid plastics. Harder plastics are generally more prone to yellowing at higher temperatures, thus requiring more stabilizer than soft plastics.

    I tried several heat stabilizers, because I'm working with the hardest plastisol and a lot of light colors like white and yellow. This Barlow's brand really works! Ironically, the cold color is somewhat yellow, but when used it almost completely eliminates yellowing, even over many re-heating cycles. Because of my application, I use quite a lot -- up to 20 drops per ounce -- but even at that concentration other brands didn't seem to work. This stuff does!
