Stripe skirt layers can be arranged to give you a stripe dominate skirt or a mottled skirt. The color stripes in the stripe layers are not symmetrical. If you look at the layers above you will see that one end of the layer is the dark color and the other end is the light color. If you make the skirt with the layers the same direction where the colors line up you will get a stripe effect on the skirt. If you reverse the direction of the second layer then you will get the mottled effect.
