Barlow's Shakee blade is made from 0.018 inch stainless steel.
It is available in three sizes, standard, pro and magnum.
The pro size is available in two different styles. The Pro and the Pro Turbo.

The standard blade is 1.14 inches long and 0.87 inches wide. The holes for the snap are 0.086 and 0.102 inches in diameter and the split ring hole is 0.086 inches in diameter. Duo Lock Snaps: The standard blade uses a size 2 snap. A size 3 snap can be used but is more difficult to assemble.

The Pro blade is 1.45 inches long and 1.24 inches wide. The holes for the snap are oblong shape for easier assembly. They are 0.17 inches long and 0.092 inches wide. The split ring hole is 0.11 inches in diameter. The pro blade wil use duo lock snaps in sizes 2, 3 or 4. The most popular size is a 3. Use a size 3 or 4 split ring.

The Pro Turbo blade hast the same dimensions as the Pro blade but also has 2 turbo holes taht are 0.237 inches in diameter.

The magnum blade is 1.7 inches long and 1.4 inches wide. The holes for the snap are 0.110 and 0.125 inches in diameter and the split ring hole is 0.110 inches in diameter.Duo Lock Snaps: The magnum blade uses a size 3 snap. A size 4 can be used but is more difficult to assemble.

Most of the lures of this type we have seen are made with a flat eye jig head.  When using a flat eye jig head you will need: 1 jig head, 1 split ring and 1 duo lock snap.  You can also make this lure with a regular eye jig head using 2 split rings.  When using a regular eye jig head you will need : 1 jig head, 2 split rings and 1 duo lock snap.  We have thoroughly tested both methods and both work great.
