This skirt assembly tool is the same tool used by manufacturers to produce thousands of skirts a day. It is designed to be clamped to a bench top (clamp is not included). Skirt assembly procedure is: (1) Load skirt collars (1 to 20) onto the tube body by pushing the collars down over the loading point and onto the tube body. (2) Remove the loading point and use the wire hook attached to the loading point to pull the selectedd skirt layers up through the tube and half way out of the top of the tube. (3) Slide 1 collar off the tube body and onto the layers. Remove the layers from the tube, trim the ends off the layers and the skirt is complete. Note: A lubricant such as vaseline makes it easier to load and un-load the collars.
