This jig head gets its name from the shape of its head, although this design can also be said to be the "thinking man's" jig because of its versatility. The tapered egg shape cuts current, resists snags in rocks and slides into tube skirts better than the traditional round head jig. The "ring and barb" collar can be dressed with either tied material or soft plastics. The Egg Head Jig packs many features into its simple design.
This mold has a "Ring and Barb" collar, uses a 575 or 570 style hook and has 6 different size cavities.
