| Lure Rattles Systems are popular for many types of fishing lures, but particularly Bass Jigs. Special lure skirt collars have been designed that incorporate rattle holders into the collars used for the manufacture of lure skirts. The collars are rubber and the matching rattles are plastic cased with metal balls for rattles. There are two types of rattle collars available, the “EAR” type and the “STRAP” type. | |||||

| The “EAR” type rattle holder has two rattle receptacles molded as a part of the skirt collar. These hold the rattles close to the body of the lure. This adds some bulk to the lure under the skirt for a fuller appearance, which many fishermen like. If you really want a lot of rattle in the lure you can build skirts with two “EAR” type collars and have 4 rattles on the lure. | |||||

| “RATTLE STRAP” collars have the rattle receptacles molded onto the ends of two straps or arms that extend out from the skirt collar. This type of rattle holder gives a lot of easy motion to the rattles. Both types of skirt collar rattle holders may be used as supplemental rattles on lures simply by slipping the collar and rattles over the hook of the lure. Both of these collars also work on Spinner Baits as well as Jigs. | |||||
