Great Tool
I was tired of buying sinkers $$$$$$$$ Decided to make my own.Palmers Hot Pot 2,from Barlow's Tackle has the best price for this item on the net. Picked up a half ton of lead from the job & went to work, the Hot Pot gets hot real quick.I've been selling sinkers to my friends & just about made my money back from the price of the molds. Great little tool, git one.......

Things to consider
This unit works fine - just as claimed. However, it is best used for small molds. Anything over one ounce and the lead cools too fast leaving the weight layered. In hindsight, I should have gone with a cast iron pot and used propane for a heat source.

For bullet making it is probably great. For 5 ~ 20 ounce fishing weights it leave a lot to be desired.

Can't live without it
This pot is awesome! It reaches 720' . FAST! I cast 44 cal. Muzzle loader bullets with it and it works perfect. Pour your cast right from the pot so you don't loose heat. You will not be disappointed
